APPLYING FOR NI (NATIONAL INSURANCE) NUMBER & BENEFITS IN GUILDFORD & SURROUNDING VILLAGES:-
We thought this experience of others would be helpful:
“Applied for national insurance here and it arrived 2 days later. I was really impressed as online it stated it can take up to 8 weeks for the number to be issued”.
“We applied for Universal credit online and then they contacted us with a Job Centre appointment. That took half an hour and they’re applying for NI number for us. We needed bank account details, passports and home office letter. Then we have to go back a week later for first commitments appointment when my guest will meet her job officer. Apparently this will take about 45 minutes.”
“Our experience of the Job Centre – you can just walk in, no booking. They give you the information to apply on line for Universal credit, and national insurance number. You do it for the guests at home. The job centre will call you when the Universal credit application has come through to them.”
